Heaven on Earth!

This is without a doubt the most heavenly place nestled in a magnificent area of our planet. The Serengeti is BREATHTAKING and every single detail of this camp honors this. Staff are wonderful, warm, real and profoundly connected/sensitive to nature and the animals living there. The tents are gorgeous and the food is divine. I long for this place all the time, it's that special. I believe the Serengeti is the most magical land on this planet."

Unbelievable Location and Camp

This was a true experience worth writing about. The food was spectacular, the rooms were luxurious, and the staff were all very friendly. The proximity to amazing wildlife was great and the "sundowner" with the Hippo's was amazing. Our guide Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and created a great few days for us out with the animals. Its a must do if you are visiting the Serengeti!"

A terrific camp in an outstanding part of Tanzania

We stayed at Sayari for 3 luxurious nights - the service, the food and the accommodations were amazing. Ross and Katherine are lovely hosts, Simba is a terrific chef and all of the staff are very attentive - greeting us each day as we returned from safari with warm towels, setting up a table for us under a shady tree for lunch, arranging for a private table for our dinners. The setting is incredible - an absolutely beautiful part of the Serengeti just bordering Kenya. Our guide Kivuyo was fabulous. Kivuyo asked first thing what was on our wish list to see and then set out to ensure we saw everything on our list which we did! The rooms are luxurious, the coffee delivered to our 'tent' with cookies each morning was such a lovely treat. Overall just an excellent experience!"

Perfection!

My family and I went on a 2 week safari in Tanzania in January. We stayed in 4 different camps and one hotel. Sayari Camp was, without a doubt, our favorite. Everything was perfect- amazing hosts, fabulous accommodations and truly incredible food. There were so many wonderful aspects to this camp: whenever possible the staff brought the tables outside and it was so lovely eating under the trees. Also the showers were great - like a rain shower. There was a pool that was the perfect temperature. The hosts Katherine and Ross were amazing - so welcoming and helpful. And the Northern Serengeti itself was beyond spectacular! The landscape was gorgeous - green with amazing rock formations. And the wildlife viewing blew us away. This place is a must if you are going on Safari in Tanzania!"

Purrrrfect!

Spent 4 nights at Sayari at the start of our African adventure. First impressions, arrived at the local airstrip to be picked up by our guide who summarily invited us on a game drive back to the camp. We were immediately immersed in the Serengeti from the minute we arrived. The camp itself is in an ideal position, located just off the Mara river, with abundant wildlife right on our doorstep, (literally!) The staff were most attentive and food was excellent. Indeed, my wife, who requires a gluten and dairy free diet, received outstanding meals prepared specifically for her. The rooms in camp were spacious and clean; and staff were on call for any requirement we had. Our guides were knowledgable and very friendly, quite willing to adjust plans to meet our requirements; and to allowing ample time to allow us to take it all in. We both loved the experience and would not hesitate to return."

What an experience!

What an amazing place to stay. Of all places to stay in Africa, it was the most luxurious room accommodations. There was a beautiful bathtub. The food was terrific and the temporary manager who was there to relieve the regular manager was so kind and helpful. The group environment of nightly cocktails and bonfires as well as meals held at a large table with everyone surrounding was a nice change from the intimate dinners we had shared at other resorts. The guides were very good and tried to find whatever it was you were looking for. I would suggest just being upfront with your guide as to what you want to see and how long you want to spend seeing it. It has worked well for us. Our guide was terrific in finding secluded areas where we could view the animals from different vantage points. We found with the safaris tours and the meals, we rarely spent time in the room, which was a shame as it was gorgeous!"

Experience of A life time!

This was our favorite camp of our 10 day Tanzanian Safari. The rooms were spectacular, the staff was amazing, and the managers were great. We’ve never been treated so well. Wildlife was abundant even in the camp. We had a herd of elephants living in the camp with us and as a result needed escorts to get to and from our room at night (and even during the day). They had an awesome pool that was built into a natural rock formation. The views over the Northern Serengetti with the bluffs of the Masi Mara in the distance were great.

The area around the camp had an abundance of wildlife that was very active. We spend two full days here, but could have spent more. I wouldn’t recommend spending any less especially if coming at the time of the migration. We lucked out and got to see three river crossings even though we were past the season for them. Truly spectacular and the highlight of our trip. We also saw cheetah, lion, and leopard cubs multiple times within a 15 minute drive of the camp."

A truly magical experience

I have recordings of the morning sounds from Tent no 4 on my phone that I listened to today on my return to Mumbai, and I was transported to a magical place in a country far away. Tanzania is a gentle place full of gentle people, and Sayari Camp harks back to a time long gone - very Karen Blixen, very "here I am; and here I was meant to be"."
